sophie's arrival

Friday, September 3-- a beautiful morning.  Judith drove me to the hospital.  Granddad stayed back to help the children get ready for school.  We arrived at the hospital about 7 am.  It's nice to be remembered here.

First they started the antibiotic for the group B strep.  Two hours later the pitocin.  Sophia Faith arrived at 1:30 p.m.  Just pushed through one contraction...could you always be that easy baby?

My wonderful nurse, Wendy, with my midwives, Jennifer and Sue.  Sue came in just to give support. I love those ladies.
